A strength of The Oaks School of Leadership is the community that is built by students and staff. Students are engaged in activities throughout the year to build camaraderie, trust, and deep relationships. Students spend much of their time on a day-to-day basis working together, playing together, and ministering together while cultivating relationships that last a lifetime.
The Oaks School of Leadership students live on campus at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Collins Hall and have access to all the amenities the campus has to offer. Dining at the food court offers a variety of choices, including a salad bar, pizza and burrito bar, and home-cooked healthy meals. Students also have the option of lounging at an on-campus coffeehouse.
A game room provides entertainment opportunities for students to enjoy without leaving campus, and an extensive library is available with online resources. OSL students have the opportunity to enjoy the whole package of college life.
Oaks School of Leadership students are given great opportunities for missions and outreach, both stateside and overseas. As part of the Southwestern campus, students have the opportunity to travel abroad on short-term missions trips working with missionaries and local churches in various countries. These opportunities allow OSL students to take their education and experience and reach cultures around the world.
